This sub for the most part hates Abby who is the straight one and the one we are forced to play as half the game plus beat the crap out of Ellie with which was painful for most of us (I was literally rooting for Ellie while controlling Abby, like wtf? They seriously failed at making us here care for Abby's shit and her friends) and it seems more than half the people here (Including me) would have accepted Joel dying but the problem was HOW he was killed.
Those same trailers are the ones they edited to mislead us into thinking Joel would play a big part in the story (While alive not as a memory). Left Behind isn't the only thing that implied Ellie was a lesbian, the literal Last of Us 2 trailer showed her and Dina embracing each other and talking/looking all lovey dovey (Mainly Dina).
